5/30/23 – This is a truly exceptional Colt Government Model 1911A1 from 1937-38 in its original box.The pistol appears to be in nearly unfired condition, and is probably the finest commercial 1911A1 we have ever offered, it simply can’t be upgrade.Mint bore, mint grips, mint mag.The pistol shows only a tiny hint of a takedown scratch on the frame, but otherwise looks like it just left the factory.Not only does it come with the original Colt box, which is hand numbered and matching on the bottom, but even has the original manuals and mailing envelope it was sent with.
