9/30/25 – For sale is an Imperial German Erfurt Kar98a made in 1916. The metal has an aged bluing with a browning form patina. There’s visible finish loss as well from wear. The stock shows many wear marks and handling dents. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The rifle has mostly matching numbers, but the follower and magazine floorplate are stamped “46” instead of 47. The safety flag and stacking rod are missing.
