4/28/26 – This is a BYF 42 “black widow” Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1942. The pistol is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 135” military acceptance proofs. It is fitted with original “Black Widow” bakelite grips and comes with one black widow magazine. The gun has retained roughly 80% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps, where there is also some light brown patina. There is also general high edge wear, muzzle wear, and some light freckling and pin-pricking on the left side of the barrel. The bore has great rifling, but there is light freckling in the grooves.
