05/20/26 – For sale is a Japanese Type 99 Naval Special made towards the end of WW2 at the Yokosuka Naval Arsenal. These Rifles are unique, having a cast receiver. The locking lugs of the bolt lock into the barrel and not the receiver. The metal has a rough cast finish with remnants of an enamel finish. The stock shows heavy wear and there are multiple cracks at the wrist. The bore is fair with somewhat bright lands. The rifling is visible but shows wear towards the muzzle. The bolt does not have a serial number.
