05/08/26 – For sale is a German G.43 rifle chambered in 8mm Mauser and made in 1944 at the Walther factory. The rifle has a nice dark finish throughout with visible surface wear on friction parts. The barrel band has a phosphate finish, wearing to a brown patina. The stock is clean without any cracks or breaks, but has been sanded and treated. The bore is bright with good rifling, but some pitting is visible about 2 inches from the muzzle. The rifle has mismatched numbers throughout. The cleaning rod and sight hood are absent.
