Description
9/1/23 – This is a good condition Model 1885 Kropatschek Bayonet. This bayonet has a fair amount of patina/discoloration down the length of the blade, with pitting in the fuller on the right side but no surface rust. The edge has not been sharpened. Writing on the spine near the crossguard reads Steyr 1886. The ricasso displays CE overtop of WG. The crossguard and pommel show wear from use and a patina with no severe issues. Wood grips show minor scratches on the left and right sides but no cracks or splits.
