Description
3/8/23 – This is an original model 1901 bayonet for a Krag M1892 rifle. The bayonet comes with an original metal scabbard and hanger, as shown. The bayonet features an excellent, bright blade that has minimal surface patina. There are a few light scratches along the edge, which could indicate light sharpening long ago. The base of the blade is US stamped and 1901 stamped. The crossguard and pommel have light speckling patina and minor pin pricking. The wood handles are excellent. The scabbard has mild surface patina throughout and a few mild dents but is in good overall condition.
