2/29/24 – This is a very nice example of a late-war “bcd 4” Gustloff Werke K98 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has mixed phosphate and blued parts – the majority of the gun is phosphate. While there is not much actual finish loss, there is spotty discoloration on the phosphate (this is typical). The wood furniture is excellent, but it has been treated with a very thin layer of lacquer. Mint bore.
