1/5/24 – This is a Walther PP designated for the Reichs Finanz Verwaltung. It is marked “R.F.V. 1214 W” on the back strap. This Third Reich department was in charge of the borders as well as government financial matters – much like our own IRS and border police. This one has retained about 94% of its original finish. There is general wear around the muzzle and on the high edges with some dulling and brown patina on the grip straps. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips – there is cracking along the edges of both sides. Comes with a proper Walther banner only magazine. Mint bore.
