11/30/23 – This is a nice, original Army Colt Model 1917 revolver from WW1.It has a nice profile view with minor high edge wear, but the vast majority of the bluing loss is on the grip straps.Original wood grips are present, and the left panel has the matching serial to the number inside the cylinder well.Strong bore with minor signs of use.Nice wood grips with no chips or cracks.Barrel is UNITED STATES PROPERTY marked.The gun does have some dried grease inside that has the cylinder release a little sticky, but should be easy to clean up.
