02/27/2024 – For sale is a K98k rifle made by the Mauser factory in 1943. The rifle is matching except for the handguard which is unnumbered and could be a replacement. The rifle is matching on the receiver, bolt, safety body, safety flag, striker,extractor, rear sight ladder & slider,barrel band & nosecap, stock, magazine floor, and trigger guard. The bore is excellent and very bright with good rifling. There is a significant crack at the tang of the rifle which goes around the side of the rifle to above the magazine and will need to be looked at by a gunsmith for repair. The rifle also is missing its locking screws for action screws on the bottom of the rifle.
