6/20/23 – This is a minty 1946 Jungle Carbine no 5 Mk 1, issued to British military in August of 1946. It is all matching including the wood stock, with proper British proofs throughout. There is almost no actual black enamel finish loss, with just some marks and tiny spots of oxidation on the magazine. Some light scuffing along the barrel. Minty wood stock with just a couple of light scuffs here and there and a few dings on the top of the handguard. Minty bore. Comes with a canvas sling.
