4/2/24 – This is an extremely rare, WW2 production M1 Garand bayonet by Wilde Tool. This is by far the hardest-to-find maker of M1 bayonets from WW2, and highly sought after by collectors. This example is uncut, full sized with a 16 inch blade. The blade retains nearly all of the original finish, just some mild thinning near the tip.No signs of sharpening. The base of the blade is maker stamped, dated 1942, and ordnance bomb stamped. The grips are correct and early variation, with the distinctive brown / black patterned two tone colors.Includes an original M3 scabbard. Excellent overall condition with normal signs of aging and mild use wear.
