Description
5/7/24 – This is a WW2 era production Japanese Style Pistol Holster. The holster is unmarked but has shape, design, and closure loop styles that indicate Japanese production. We’re not sure what pistol this is for, but general research and knowledge finds the Japanese Officers to be partial to FN and other Axis pistols over the standard issue type 94 and type 14. This holster would fit most 7.65mm Axis pistols, with a width of about 5.5 inches and a length (when closed) of about 7.5 inches. The leather shows mild surface wear and scuffing on the top and top leather. The top rounded portion of leather has some mild surface cracking. The interior leather shows previous use. The biggest flaw is the broken closure strap. The stitching is all original and in great condition.
