10/12/23 – This is a very nice Russian SVT-40 that was made in 1942 at the Tula factory.Matching numbers on the receiver, trigger guard and stock with etched serial on bolt and a mismatched serial on mag.The rifle was refurbished so the bluing is excellent overall.Small import mark on right side of receiver.Comes with canvas sling and a cleaning rod.The stock shows minor handling wear but no cracks or structural issues.Bore has strong rifling but frost and freckling in the grooves. Comes with a reproduction bayonet.
