Description
3/8/24 – This is a minty example of a S&W Model 1917 Revolver issued to the US military during WW1. All matching, “United States Property” marked, and “Eagle Head S6” military proofed with flaming bombs. It comes as a rig with a nice 1917-dated leather holster. The gun itself has retained about 97% of its original high polish bluing. There is just very minor high edge wear, a very light roll mark on the cylinder, and some tiny dings on the front edge of the frame. Fitted with un-numbered wood grips. The bore has great rifling with some very minor pin-pricking in the grooves.
