4/4/24 – This is a fantastic example of a very early and desirable Colt SP1 that predates the Vietnam War.Dates to late 1966 or very early 1967. This rifle is original with around 99% finish remaining, just very minor surface scuffing.No notable finish loss, but minor oxidation on the barrel. The early barrel is marked ’12’ on underside, indicating it has the 1×12 inch twist.Three prong flash hider is present, as is bayonet lug.Early triangular handguards and early style buttstock, with no provisions for internal storage.Two piece buffer tube with chrome bolt face.Minty bore and C&R eligible.
