8/3/23 – This is an excellent, near mint example of a 1942 dated M1916 holster for the M1911A1 pistol. The holster has crisp, clean leather that’s strong throughout with minimal pliability. There’s minimal surface wrinkling around the closure knob hole and top leather. The interior leather is minty with 1 small scratch in the leather. The back leather is maker stamped and dated. No stitching issues. Comes with an original leather leg lanyard as well. A high end example.
