2/21/23 – This is an original WW2 German General Assault Badge. The medal is zinc, non-magnetic construction with no maker markings or stamps on the interior. The original hook, hinge, and pin are all intact and functional. As shown, there’s surface patina and mild wear throughout this example, but no major issues.
