Description
8/13/24 – This is an excellent example of a Remington Woodsmaster Model 81 semi auto rifle, chambered in .300 Savage. From the “KSS” date code on the barrel, it was manufactured in May of 1947. Overall, the gun is excellent. The metal parts have retained a majority of original bluing with minor wear around the high edges. There is some unknown pencil etching around the trigger guard and under the breech. The wood furniture is in great shape and appears to have been re-coated sometime in the past. Bore is clean with good rifling and rates a strong 8 of 10. Includes a Lyman scope with clear optics, and an unmarked leather sling.Smooth action and fully functional.
