3/15/23 – This is an original 1917 dated Luger holster from WW1. The holster is in great condition with strong, all original leather that has minimal pliability. The lift strap is attached to the base / back of the holster, but is broken and not attached or tied to the front of the holster as shown. The back of the holster has an added piece of leather that creates a hinge between the lid and body of the holster. This is likely added post-factory, and the stitching is replacement in this area as well. The giveaway being that this stitching is a different color than the rest of the stitching. The rest of the stitching is original however, and in great shape. There’s a maker stamp we cannot decipher on the interior lid, and a 1917 date stamp.
