Description
7/24/24 – This is a late WW2 production Mauser P.38 magazine with some rare late-war features. The left side of the tube is stamped P.38v with a “U” underneath, for unhardened metal. Third, the magazine follower is ribbed, which is only found with end-of-war examples. Not having military proofs could mean two things, the magazine was manufactured for the commercial market (police) or the inspection stamp was simply left off at the end of the war.Overall in near great condition with some discoloration and moderate amounts of wear. Has a fully functional spring.
