Description
8/6/24 – This is a very nice example of a Colt Model 1911 issued to the US military in 1918. It is all correct with a proper “H P” Colt barrel. It has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original military bluing. The majority of the finish loss comes in the form of thinning on the grip straps, so the profile views are fairly excellent. However, there are tiny dots of discoloration along the left side of the slide. Fitted with nice period-correct wood grips and comes with a proper two-tone magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
