5/14/25 – This is a nice example of a Springfield M1 Garand chambered in .308.The serial number on this one is just the number ‘6’.Obviously, we do not think this is genuinely the 6th Garand ever produced, but we also aren’t sure when/how the numbering was done as we don’t see signs of other digits being removed.The rifle has a nice dark parkerized finish throughout. The stock is in great shape, but is not stamped anywhere. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The barrel is marked SA-9-50. Muzzle erosion rating is a 2.
