Description
10/6/20 – This is an original 1943 dated double barreled Luftwaffe flare pistol. Maker stamped “GPT” for Gustave Bittner, which is a fairly scarce maker. These were issued to luftwaffe air crew to signal emergencies during combat. Fairly lightweight construction and a black painted finish. There is some minor surface “dings” but no serious wear or issues. Mechanically sound with smooth action and functionality. Features a dual trigger design and selector switch for deciding which barrel will be fired.
