Description
8/26/24 – Original, early variation, WW2 Luftwaffe gravity knife. The blade is in fair condition with some mild traces of the original blued finish, but mostly visible is dark patina and surface discoloration. The edge shows signs of sharpening and use. One side of the blade is marked “RB Nr. 70561/0020”. The side lever / release mechanism functions without issue, and is matching numbered “38”. The side spike is stamped with a Luftwaffe eagle/5 proof stamp. The wood handle has some indents, nicks, and a small crack on one side, but overall this piece is in good shape with some honest wear throughout.
