3/31/25 – This is an original pre-war Walther PPK slide, featuring the Crown N proof mark below the ejection port, indicating commercial production before April 1940. Retaining approximately 75% of its original finish, the slide exhibits some mild oxidation throughout, but the markings remain clear and well-defined. The finish wear is consistent with age, adding to its authenticity as a pre-WWII German-made component. This slide would be an excellent candidate for a period-correct restoration or as a collector’s spare part, preserving the history of one of Walther’s most iconic pistols.
