09/12/2024 – For sale is a Winchester M1 Carbine made at the end of 1942. The rifle is nearly all “parts correct” for a rifle made around then. The metal has a nice parkerized finish that we believe was done during a rebuild. The barrel as a blue-like finish as seen on Winchester barrels. The bore is bright with great rifling. The stock is marked WRA/GHD on the right side next to the cross cannons cartouche. There is also a -U- stamp on the left side denoting a rebuild. The stock is Winchester but is incorrect for this serial number and should be a high wood stock. The parts list is included in the photos.
