11/22/24 – This is a great example of a 1940 Luger Holster, the leather is still pliable. There are a few scuffs throughout the whole holster. This holster has very little surface cracking along the hinge, but these cracks do not go through the leather. The closure strap is in great condition as well and has some surface cracking. The inside is clean with no markings. The backside of the holster is marked and dated, “40,” with a WaA47 stamp.The waffen stamp is light and hard to make out in it’s entirety, but the last digits are 47. The stitching seems to be all original and intact throughout.
