7/22/26 – This is a beautiful example of a Colt Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1945. It is “United States Property” marked, has the proper “GHD” inspection initials, and has a military cross-canon cartouche. It has a proper late-war Colt barrel with a “Square C”. The gun is in beautiful condition overall, retaining nearly all of its original parkerized finish. There is just minor wear on the mainspring housing. Fitted with period-correct reddish-brown plastic grips and comes with a un-marked magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is some light frosting throughout.
