6/4/26- For sale is a 1942 dated M1905 bayonet with the rare “Lazy S” scabbard. The blade is Parkerized with light patina but no edge chipping or serious damage. The blade is stamped on one side with “U.C. U.S. 1942” along with the flaming bomb emblem. The other side of the blade has the crossed cannons cartouche. The grips are intact and undamaged. The scabbard is a WW2 contract hard scabbard with the US flaming bomb emblem and the sideways “Lazy S” manufacturer mark, indicating it is a very rare Detroit Gasket scabbard, accounting for less than 10% of total production. There is very light wear but no serious damage. Overall in excellent condition.
