05/26/26 – For sale is a Springfield M1 Garand made in 1945 that was converted into a Mk2 Mod 0 by H&R to 7.62×51 NATO using a chamber bushing. This method was deemed unreliable as there were the chance of the bushing coming loose and ejecting with a spent cartridge. The rifle has a smooth parkerized finish on the receiver and barrel with light patina and edge wear. The stock is unmarked but in good structural condition. Some light surface dings and scratches. The bore is bright with good rifling. The muzzle erosion rating is 2.
