7/22/26 – This is a Colt Model 1911 issued to the US Army in 1918. It has all the correct markings and has the proper “H P” Colt barrel. It has retained roughly 65-70% of its finish. There is obvious spotty wear and splotchy discoloration covering the whole gun. There appear to be some areas of cold blue touch-up. Some areas of pin-pricking here and there. Fitted with modern replacement wood grips and comes with a period-correct two-tone magazine. Very nice bore with good rifling, just some minor frosting in the grooves.
