7/11/24 – This is a very nice example of a BYF 42 “Black Widow” Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1942. It is all matching, has the proper “Eagle 135” military acceptance proofs, and fitted with an excellent set of original “Black Widow” bakelite grips. It comes with one original “Black Widow” magazine – a few tiny chips in the base. The gun has retained about 91% of its original finish with wear around the muzzle, high edges, and on the grip straps. The bore has good rifling, but there is some freckling and some tiny pits in the grooves.
