9/23/24 -¬This is an original 1942 dated Mauser / Sauer (or similar sized pistol) holster. The holster is dated, police eagle B¬stamped, and maker stamped under the closure strap. Minty leather is firm and shows some surface staining. All original stitching. The leather is very stiff as it appears un-issued. The closure strap is very difficult to attach to the stud. A PPK fits very snug, and it will not close, so a smaller handgun would be more appropriate.
