1/27/26 – This is a Colt Model 1908 Pocket Hammerless, manufactured in 1925 and chambered in .380 ACP. The M1908 is much more scarce than the M1903 in .32 ACP. The slide is numbered and matching. It comes with a period-correct box (the numbering is worn away), one proper magazine, and an owners manual. The gun’s original finish rates somewhere between 85-90%. The majority of the finish loss is on the back strap, but there is also general high edge wear and a series of tiny dings on the back edge of the tang. Fitted with hard rubber Colt “surfboard” grips. The bore has great rifling with just some very light pin-pricking in the grooves.
