5/6/24 – This is a Walther Mod HP originally sold in the commercial market during WW2. It was later refinished and issued to the Austrian military, as evidenced by the “Eagle BH” marking on the frame. Import mark on the right side of the frame. A matching serial number was added to the left side of the slide. It comes with a post-war box, owners manual, one WW2-era “Eagle 88” marked magazine, and one post-war magazine. The finish rates about 90% with minor high edge wear and some light scratchy wear along the right side of the slide. The original markings are faint – they were buffed during the re-bluing process. Fitted with French-style metal grips. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
