Description
8/1/24 – This is a very nice example of a Sauer 38h sold in the commercial market during WW2. It is all matching and “Eagle N” proofed. It comes as a rig with an earlier Sauer-marked magazine, one later half-moon magazine, and an excellent 1942-dated police-marked holster. The gun itself has retained about 93% of its original high polish bluing. There is muzzle wear, minor spotty wear on both sides of the slide, a light streak of wear on the front strap, and a spot of wear at the base of the back strap. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips. Mint bore.
