Description
6/17/24 – This is a nice example of an early Colt Government Model 1911 sold in the commercial market in 1913. Its original bluing rates roughly 70%. There is general high edge wear, wear on the grip straps, and noticeable wear with splotchy discoloration along the top of the slide. Fire-bluing still visible on the hammer trigger, mag release button, and thumb safety. Fitted with period-correct wood grips and comes with one magazine (lanyard loop) on the base. Excellent magazine.
