7/6/26 – This is a nice example of a Colt Python revolver from 1965. It is chambered in .357 Magnum with a 6 inch barrel. All matching with a very nice high polish Colt bluing. Its finish rates roughly 85%. The majority of the finish loss is on the back strap, but there is also noticeable muzzle wear, an area of spotty discoloration on the left side of the barrel, an area of wear on the underside of the trigger guard, and general high edge wear. Fitted with checkered wood grips – both sides show some wear with noticeable scratching on the bottom edges. Excellent, shiny bore with strong rifling. Smooth action. C&R eligible.
