6/19/26- For sale is a WW2 German machine gun ammo can with two belts of ammo. The can is made of stamped aluminum with dark green paint. The can is stamped under the carrying handle with 743/1939 and a WaA 138 eagle. There is noticeable finish wear, especially along the top edges and the bottom of the can. There are two belts of ammo inside. One belt is about 50 rounds and has wooden tipped dummy rounds. The other belt is about 100 rounds that all appear to be live 42 headstamped rounds. Overall in very good condition.
