5/27/26- For sale is a WW2 era propaganda poster. The poster advises readers that a large, intimidating rattlesnake with blood dripping from its fangs is “less dangerous than careless talk”. The poster directs people to not discuss vital war information in public spaces. The back of the poster gives some information about the artist and encourages the poster to be displayed prominently. The poster measures about 20×28 inches and has slight folding lines, likely from when it was originally distributed. The colors are bright and there is no evidence of staining, water damage, or tearing. Overall in excellent condition.
