Description
2/5/25 – This is a good example of a M1892 Krag rifle bayonet with an original scabbard. The bayonet is dated 1902 on one side of the ricasso and US stamped on the other. The blade on this bayonet appears to have been refinished at some point. There is some pitting and pinpricking on the blade, but nothing that appears to still be active. The edge shows signs of light sharpening. The wood handle has no cracks or chips. The scabbard is in good condition with no dents, it does have oxidation throughout. The belt hanger is still attached as well.
