4/6/26- For sale is an MG42/MG3 barrel in .308/7.62 NATO. After WW2, the MG42 and its derivatives remained in service with numerous forces and the chambering was converted from 8mm Mauser to the standard .308/7.62 NATO round. The barrel is darkly blued with only light spots of surface. The barrel exterior has very light turn lines from being machined on a lathe. The barrel is stamped with the number 225283 and the caliber designation 7.62×51. The barrel is very clean with only light wear. Overall in excellent condition.
