12/17/24 – This M1 Carbine stock is in minty condition, with a beautiful birch wood stock that shows minimal to no signs of wear. Likely post war. The metal components are in excellent condition, adding to the overall appeal of this stock. A yellow “W” stamp is present on the recoil plate, but there are no other visible markings on the stock, which suggests it may have been a replacement part or produced by a specific manufacturer. The wood is smooth, with no cracks or dents, making this stock a perfect choice for a restoration project or as an upgrade for an M1 Carbine. The lack of additional markings does not detract from its quality, as this is a solid, functional, and aesthetically pleasing stock.
