10/03/2024 – For sale is a Springfield Trapdoor saddle ring carbine made in 1882. The carbine is in good condition with some of the original bluing remaining on the barrel. There are many notable spots of oxidation throughout the metal on the carbine. The stock is in great condition with no cracks but plenty of handling marks. The rear sight has been upgraded to the Buffington style sights and does not have a C stamp. The bore has some brightness to it but there is notable pitting throughout.The barrel measures 22″.
