7/20/26 – For sale is a Gewehr 98 that was made by Simson & Suhl that was converted to a G98M after WW1. This rifle also had its stock replaced sometime in the past. The rifle is in good condition but the receiver has lost much of its original finish. The barrel and other metal parts retain their bluing with some wear. The rifle is mismatched throughout. The stock does not have any stamps and there are cracks in front of the magazine. The bore is on the darker side with visible rifling and there is some pitting in the grooves.
