Description
7/10/23 – This is a nice example of a Colt Model 1860 Army Revolver, manufactured in 1862 and chambered in .44 Caliber. All matching with the proper Naval engagement scene on the cylinder. The gun has no finish. There are areas of minor pitting and spotty oxidation throughout. The oxidation is most noticeable along the barrel. A series of small dings on the cylinder. Fitted with period-correct wood grips – there is some minor chipping and bruising on the bottom edges. The bore has good rifling, but there is light surface oxidation throughout.
