Description
2/10/26 – This is a nice example of a Colt Model 1877 “Thunderer”, which was manufactured in 1894. This revolver has retained roughly 65% of its original finish. The majority of the original case-hardening is worn with noticeable spotty brown patina on the frame, freckling throughout, and finish loss on the grip straps. Chambered in .41, the bore is bright with crisp rifling, but does show some spots of oxidation within the barrel. Fitted with period-correct blackish-brown hard rubber grips. This gun is mechanically sound with proper timing and lock-up. No FFL required.
