Description
5/28/25 – This is an excellent example of an early DWM Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1914. All matching with Imperial military acceptance proofs on the right side of the slide. It was then issued to the German police, as evidenced by the added police sear safety. It comes as a rig with a 1916-dated police holster, an un-marked Luger tool, and two mismatch police arsenal-numbered magazines. One of the belt loops and the strap on the top flap have been re-stitched. A couple of ink stamps on the inside. The gun itself has retained about 96% of its original finish with just very minor high edge and muzzle wear. Fitted with un-numbered wood grips. The rifling in the bore is just slightly worn with pin-pricking throughout.
